Here's part 2, which covers making lighting effects using blurring and the Radial Blur filter as painting tools, a bit about colour, especially adjustment with the Hue/Saturation command. I didn't get into a lot of explanation this time. Anything that wasn't clear? Do post any questions.
Parts 3 and 4 will cover more effects from the old tutorial, and a few more I learned along the way. Suggestions welcome.
Later I plan to cover basic adjustment commands like Levels and Curves, Channels, the History, Actions, Styles, Swatches, and Type palettes, Blending Modes, and some other filters I find useful. Basically, I intend to provide a decent photoshop overview in piecemeal fashion, so as not to be overwhelming.
